The contrast, run at pace

This one will run two full rounds across ninety minutes — a warm start, then the contrast without much of a pause in it, finishing on the cold plunge.

It sits before 10am and after 5pm, at the quieter end of the day. The same rooms, and light coming off the lake at both ends of it.

Then a glass at the rail with the lake in front of you, and back into the morning or the evening.

Ninety minutes doesn't fit everything

Start in the steam room

Full humidity at 40–45°C, thick with eucalyptus. The easiest place to begin warming through.

A minute in the ice room

Sub-zero air and a bright shock. The gentle way into the cold, before the plunge.

Close a round in the infrared

Radiant heat at 49–73°C, and an easy way to finish a round before the cold.

Leave the salt room for next time

It wants fifteen or twenty minutes. Ninety doesn't leave much room for it.
