Warm to the water.

A thermal spa on the shore of Okanagan Lake, where the heat and the beach are a few steps apart. We open in Kelowna, spring 2027.

What is coming

Värra is a waterfront thermal spa on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna. Ten thermal experiences and the lake itself, arranged as a session of heat, cold and the rests that hold them together. You can expect to leave warmer and clearer than when you walked in.

The Thermal Experience

The circuit ends where the lake begins.

Each round runs the same way: you warm through the saunas, take the cold for a few seconds, then rest for as long as you like. Three rounds fill a session of about 150 minutes, and there is a recommended path you can follow or leave. The plunge is brief; the clear-headed minute afterwards is the part worth staying for.

The lounge at Värra, looking through to a lit sauna where two people sit talking, with a hanging chair, a stone table set with sparkling wine, and robes on a rail.

The Experiences

Eleven, counting the lake

Three saunas, a hammam, a steam room, a salt room, an ice room, a cold plunge, and the warm and hot pools you rest in between rounds. That makes ten. The eleventh is Okanagan Lake, which you reach on foot across the sand.
